A space focusing on the principal publishing houses in Italy and the Italian magazines that disseminated dissenting literature and art from the Soviet Union, through the publication of translations (also of texts already circulating in the tamizdat), commentaries, reviews and in some instances, previously unpublished original texts. The aim is to highlight the key role played by Italy in the reception of independent voices from the USSR. The journal and archival catalogues, as well as the contents of the articles on the various publications, in their partiality are intended to give exclusive emphasis to the topics covered in this research.
